Government Infringement Is on the Way

PASTORS AND CHURCH LEADERS BEWARE! The Federal and State Governments are on the way. It seems they are determined to chip away at our religious liberty in this nation until the day comes when no freedom of religion remains.

During the past few years laws and Executive Orders have flooded society, which have attacked the very moral fiber upon which this nation was founded. Initially they wanted to attack Ministers of the Gospel because their sermons on sin were not politically correct. Although most of America has not had to contend with that, as yet, they continue their push.

Commission on Civil Rights Recommendations

Our President had the U. S. Commission to study Religious Freedom and its affect on “Protected Classes” of individuals. The Commission submitted a scathing report to the President, ridiculing Christians and Churches in the free exercise of their religious beliefs when those beliefs were contrary to those of homosexual or transgender groups. The 306 page report may prove to be damaging to Churches all across our nation.

In the report, the opening letter to the President stated this:

Religious exemptions to the protections of civil rights based upon classifications such as race, color, national origin, sex, disability status, sexual orientation, and gender identity, when they are permissible, significantly infringe upon these civil rights.

The report further stated that the fault lies with the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause, which “constricts the ability of government actors to curtail private citizens’ rights to the protections of nondiscrimination laws and policies.”
U.S. Commission on Civil Rights

The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights is supposed to be composed of eight representatives and is not supposed to have more than four from one particular political party. Four of the members are appointed by the President and four by Congress. However, this Commission is composed of seven Democrats and one Republican.

The illegal composition of this Commission is attempting to shift societal winds in a new direction. They are openly lobbying for a standard that will give homosexual and transgender rights preference above that of religious rights. Although they have no authority to enact anything, their suggestions are highly considered by the Administration.

What You Do, You Must Do Quickly

Our Department of Justice shut down a Christian Bakery for refusing to bake a wedding cake for a homosexual wedding. Some may say this is discrimination, but there were other Bakeries in the city which would have been thrilled to fill the order. The homosexuals were not disenfranchised. It was not about a cake, it was about removing religious liberties.

Before our Christian liberties are removed, every Pastor and Church Leader in America must act now to protect our remaining freedoms. If we do not, the American Church, as we once knew it, will be no more.
